From the moment HWKN in NYC approached Dazian with the MOMA PS1 summer project, we were intrigued and excited by the opportunity. The crisp clean lines of the design required precision fabrication. The technical challenge: the skeleton is constructed from scaffolding which is geometrically imperfect. Consulting with the architects from the beginning stages of producing the fabric coverings, we delivered a custom constructed fabric sheath with the ability to allow for tolerance during installation.
