Dazian is proud to introduce two new exciting sustainable fabric brands to the Print Industry; Evoke™ and Revert™. This exciting product segment is an evolutionary process, with new technologies, products and manufacturing processes in constant development. We are committed to producing cutting-edge, eco-friendly certified fabrics you can rely on to create wide-format fabric graphics for your customers. The world of print is about to get a lot greener and we are excited to be at the forefront of this revolution!

 

Revert™ fabrics are made from 100% Biodegradable Huvis Ecoen Polyester Fiber. A revolutionary new fiber technology that rapidly increases the degradation time of the fabric to just a few years in landfills, whereas traditional Polyester fabrics can take anywhere from 40 – 200 years to degrade (based on Anaerobic Landfill Biodegradation ASTM D5511-18 and Marine Biodegradation ASTM D6691 test results). This game-changing technology will help to drastically reduce landfill mass and greenhouse gas emissions. 

 

Evoke™ fabrics are made from 100% Recycled Polyester Fiber produced from post-consumer plastic waste. This collection of recycled fabrics offers some of the industry’s most utilized styles including soft and heavy knits, backlit, mesh, blackout, and sheer fabrics. Although recycled fabrics are a major step forward for our industry, we recognize that there is still much work to be done in developing new processing practices and technologies to dispose of Polyester Fabrics and to create a truly sustainable cradle-to-cradle life cycle for plastics.

 

We’ve designed and engineered these new sustainable fabrics to have the same performance and quality attributes as the standard Polyester versions. This is a very exciting time for our industry, and we look forward to offering more sustainable Fabric Print Media in the coming months ahead.
