SafeSpace Micro Spacer Anti Microbial

A Sanitized Anti-Microbial Reusable Fabric engineered for non-medical Personal Protection Masks. Micro Spacer is an innovative stretch fabric of 85% Polyester/15% Spandex with an antimicrobial finish that can be made into a one-piece mask design that stretches to conform to the face, with integrated earholes to pull around the ears. It has been engineered to cushion the face for comfort, while providing higher levels of filtration with no edge curling and fraying that are characteristic of single ply stretch fabrics that have not been sewn. There is a cooling effect on the face from adding a wicking finish to move heat and moisture to the outside of the fabric. Cools when activated with water to an average of 30 degrees below body temperature for up to 2 hours. Wet thoroughly with water, wring out excess water, snap 3 times to activate cooling mechanism.  Depending on your pattern you only need to sew one center seam, or you can offer a seamless version which requires no sewing. Micro Spacer has been designed for laser or dye cutting with no sewing required. It is available in White, or Black, and can be dye sub transfer printed for corporate logos, patterns, fashion looks, characters, and personal statements. It is washable and meets the standard AATCC 100 test for anti-microbial protection.

Non-medical Fabric masks do not offer protection from the COVID-19 Virus or any other known transmittable viruses or bacteria. Based upon the CDC recommendations, they are designed to protect the wearers from touching their faces and for the protection of others from asymptomatic carriers. Anti-Microbial textiles cannot protect you against viruses, but have been to effective in fighting bacteria, germs, and fungi.
