Scope of Work

The biggest night in Hollywood requires the perfect statement piece to welcome its elite to the
big show! At the end of the red carpet, past the sea of photographers and screaming fans
stands this monumental, fifty foot tall by forty-foot-wide art deco inspired ChromaLink™ Chain
curtain we fabricated as part of the grand entrance into the Theatre where the award show
takes place.
 

The curtain was created using three different colors of ChromaLink™ Chain (Silver, Gold, and
Copper). To ensure we would get the clean lines of the design, we printed it out on large plotter
paper and laid it out at the actual size on our production floor. Each color of chain in the line was
individually hand linked, a painstaking, yet satisfying process. The top was made with nylon
straps with reinforced grommets to safely hang this eight-hundred-pound piece of art.

• • The curtain is made-up of over four hundred and eighty individual stands of chain.
  • Nearly twenty-four thousand feet of chain was used.
